2.4.2 Data

       The slope and viewshed analysis of Burnaby Mountain was derived from a Triangulated Irregular Network (TIN) created from contour data acquired from Facilities Management, SFU. The slope analysis was classified as easy developable (0-20% slope), difficult to develop (20-30% slope), and not developable (over 30% slope). The degrees of slope were calculated manually (20% equals 11.54 degrees, 30% equals 17.46 degrees). See Appendix 1 for further information, and Appendix 2 for data sources.
